Announcing Vanessa Maia as Assistant Director of Our NYC School
NEW YORK, NY – 8/24/2020 – Christine Valmy, operator of the largest esthetics school in the United States, today announced the hire of Vanessa Maia as Assistant Director of its flagship Time Square, NY location. The Assistant Director role is integral to reinforcing the institution’s leadership position by adapting its educational offering to meet the needs of the next generation of beauty professionals.
Ms. Maia brings to the organization deep experience across a range of high-demand specialties in the beauty field, including spa management, spa treatment design, product education, sales, marketing, esthetics, and partnership development. Previously the manager of, and an esthetician at, Great Jones Spa in New York City for 13 years, Ms. Maia is uniquely positioned to incorporate extensive real-world knowledge into the Christine Valmy curricula.

Ms. Maia will be responsible for the school’s daily operations, course curricula, alumni outreach, and relationship-building within the professional community.
