· In 1944, Christine Valmy started developing her own skin care treatments in her native Romania, using natural ingredients from her garden.
· In 1961, she emigrated to the United States and, four years later, opened the first American Esthetics school in New York, NY.
· In 1975, Marina Valmy, Christine’s daughter, after graduating with a Masters Degree from Boston College, combined her knowledge of Chinese and Ayurvedic herbs, medicinal plants, Oriental treatments and Chemistry to create a laboratory where she could create all-natural products, manufactured and tested in-house, without resorting to animal testing or ingredients.
· In 1992, Marina Valmy became Director of Christine Valmy International School in NYC. She is also the company’s Executive Vice President.
